Best curry I’ve eaten in a very long time; exceptionally well-cooked and piping hot. My partner had a Chinese meal - equally delicious, generous portions too. Lovely setting with sweet waitresses. Highly recommend.
We ordered a takeaway having come to the area for a weekend break and wanted to enjoy the cottage. We’re big Thai food fans. Food was nice. The Pad Thai could have done with a little more tamarind and fish sauce to create a bigger flavour. But it was a nice dish overall. Thai sharing platter was good too! Nothing too greasy. If we came back to the area we would order again.
In the area for work, happened to stumble upon this place. Very glad we did, the prawn Thai green curry was stunning, with a lovely coconut rice to accompany. Had the crab fish cakes for a starter, neither here nor there, but would go back just for the Thai green!
Ordered food ,delivered promptly. Great service, excellent food!!!! Beef panang was seriously good! 11 out of 10! Perfect
Great fresh tasting food and nice people. Popped in and ordered and was told it would be around 40 minutes so went for a pint in the Shoe. They called to say it was ready after about 25 minutes. Had to go with what basically everyone in Ledbury has (sweet and sour chicken balls and chicken fried rice). The chicken balls were decent and there were plenty for 2 people. Way better than Golden Gate's old greasy offerings and certainly a lot better than Wing On/Ming Hing (but I'd rather eat cat food than go there again). Rice was good and tasted nice and fresh. The rice portions are smaller than in other places and you'd need a rice each if you normally like a belly buster. Chips are chunky. The prawn crackers are Thai crackers which are a bit more fishy than I'm used to. My wife thought they were really good but I wasn't a massive fan. I saw a few negative reviews on Facebook from their first weekend of opening and thought they were harsh. Ledbury hasn't had a decent Chinese takeaway for quite some time now and back when there were 3 or 4 they were always busy on weekends. Unsurprising people had long waits on the first weekend of opening.
